About us

The Piankatank Community League is organized and operated for educational and charitable purposes in the Harcum area of Gloucester, Virginia. This includes providing programs to advance education opportunities in our local schools, lessen neighborhood tensions, combat community deterioration and juvenile delinquency. As part of our community support efforts, we are dedicated to maintaining the health of the Piankatank River.

Supporting our local heroes

We show our appreciation to the Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad by hosting a potluck dinner twice a year. For the last 60 years, this tradition has continued on the first Monday in February and August at the league building.

Future aspirations

We envision expanding our facility rental offerings for meetings, gatherings, and trainings during the week. We aim to be a hub for the multiple groups, clubs, and events within the Gloucester, Virginia community!
